Frederick Douglass Academy II is a college preparatory secondary school focused on creating the next generation of society’s leaders, who are committed to excellence in character, scholastic achievement and community service through a rigorous academic curriculum that exceeds national standards. - Street Squash Harlem
Provide consistent, long-term and reliable support to the children, families, and schools in Harlem. Youth enrichment program that combines academic tutoring, squash instruction, community service, college preparation, leadership development, and mentoring for young people. - Double Discovery Center
Works with low income and first generation college bound Manhattan area youth to ensure high school graduation, college enrollment and completion and responsible adulthood. - Boys and Girls Harbor Upward Bound Program
Education-focused organization committed to providing an Individual Learning Plan for every Harbor student to assure comprehensive academic training and emotional development. - Our Children’s Foundation Inc.
Free after-school program hoping to keep children engaged when children are more likely to become the victims of violent crime in the hours after school. Children take classes, participate in group discussions and go on cultural trips, required to show their report cards, and parents are required to become involved in the programs.
